TYPES OF ANIMALS HAVE TO BE MARKED
In accordance with the Rules on the labeling of wild animals in captivity (Official Gazette 58/2004) it is to be labeled animal species from groups of mammals, birds and reptiles that can be found in:
- Annex A of Council Regulation (EC) No. 338/97 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora by regulating trade with them
- Annex 1 Decree on protected wild animal species,
- Certain bird species,
- Annex Council Regulation (EC) No. 338/97 on the protection of wild fauna and flora,
- Annex 1 of the Decree on protected wild animal species,
- Some species of birds,
- Animals in Annex B of Council Regulation (EC) No 338/97, which are included in the parent group of animals in breeding.
ATTENTION !!
Sales of frozen mice and rats as food for reptiles:
It is necessary to obtain a permit for breeding and killing of animals. Rules and permissions are similar to those for slaughter animals.
If in the country of your origin you need to have special papers for selling or distributing frozen animals, you need to have this document’s with you.

FOR FORIGN EU RESIDENTES
- You must get a Slovenian tax number: edit at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival
- Than you get a tax casher or a book-linked accounts,
- After the fair, you must notify to the Tax Administration of Slovenia-DURS SLO, your earnings
